Oh, Faith. Mauled within an inch of your life and still sarcastic. I’d apologize for the blood, but it needed to be there… so I’ll skip the insincerity.
This was… a hard page to draw. I mean, not technically, (Kind of a crummy page, really) but the situation depicted is rough for me. Seriously guys. Go call your folks. Give them a hug. Tell them you love them. Maybe make brownies for them or something. Yes, even if sometimes they’re oppressive, or unpleasant. You never know what’ll happen around the corner, and what you may regret.

Eldritch: Changes 006
So, um, Page six! Well… Mr. Smiles does not play nice. Not at all. It’s just… not usually very fun to become a werewolf. I’ve always loved werewolves, but I don’t think I would go through all that pain to be one. Bah. Drawing bite scenes always makes me feel uncomfy.
Randomly though… I loved drawing that bear panel. I love big ol boffy bear heads. Along a similar vein, sorry about that second panel. Smiles looks ugly as sin in that one O.o
::Sigh:: Poor Faith. She liked that jacket.

Eldritch: Changes 005
This is definitely one of my favorite pages for the comic.
So, before anyone says anything, yes, I know wolves do not roar. My werewolves, however do.
I advanced the story a whole .002 seconds, woooo! Gotta love Webcomics, I can waste a whole page just on this, because I don’t have to worry about printing costs! And, actually, this has been thumbnailed out for a long time. It was almost the cover image, in fact, but, since I don’t have to rely on a cover to draw buyers, I saved it for the actual comic. I think it works out better for the readers.
I know things are going downhill fast, and will get grimmer, but seriously, I swear the comic’s tone won’t be all dark and blood. It just has a rough beginning. It’ll even be funny eventually. Really!
By the way, the leaves are witch hazel

Apparently The Unknown behind you makes you less inclined to look down too. GEEZE Faith!
Considering the hour, odds are I’ve made some big mistakes on this page. Oh well, I’ll fix them later. Regardless, this page fought me bitterly… but you know, I’m actually kind of fond of how Mr. Smiles came out.
I find I really adore the webcomic as a medium. It’s kind of hard, but also has a lot of great plusses. For one, I don’t have to worry about the cost of printing. I can spend pages and pages on buildup, on subtlety, or whatever I want. And while I have a disadvantage of not having pages literally juxtaposed against one another (It makes the flow more jagged), I think it’s not that hard to work around. I really wish I’d spent more time working on the line weight on this page. I’m not very good with inking, and find I really need to work on that.
Also... THANK YOU guys for being so supportive. I really appreciate it.

I know, I know, “Go on and get her bitten already!” Everyone already knows what I’m gonna do based on my gallery, if the cover isn’t clue enough… What can I say? I’m transparent.
Faith: If these people seriously want me attacked by something, they’re really f--*gagged*
FOURTUNATE, is what she was going to say, because odds are, that’ll be what happens. Regardless though, kids, don’t do this at home. Faith is a professional… er… whatever…
Eldritch: Changes 002
As you can see, style varies a bit from page to page. The way I do things varies a lot through the first couple of books, as I was feeling out what I wanted to have in this comic.
Eldritch: Changes 001
And so the story begins! You know, there's a funny thing about drawing a waning gibbous moon... it usually just looks like you can't draw a circle. So, I just had to emphasize it's not-fullness by making it look mostly like a half moon.
